Introduction

Before appearing in any interview, it is important to prepare for better results. In the next few minutes, I will explain what things we keep in mind for preparing any Job Interviews in the private sector.

Making a great resume before Job Interviews

A resume is an entry point for any job interview. All resumes must have Your name, Email, and Active mobile number. Post that mentions your education qualification and project experience/internship if you are a fresher. Project experience is a must for all domains, it gives the candidature a positive point over other candidates. Your resume shall contain all skills and keywords for which you are looking for job and there are job descriptions with these keywords you are applying. If you are a fresher and you have recognizable achievements and awards, then you can mention that on your CV. Also, if you feel your interest and hobby can help during job interviews then mention that in your CV.

Creating a Good Profile at Job Sites

There are a few job sites at which you must create your job profile. For the Indian job market, you must have at least a good job profile at Naukri.com, and LinkedIn.com. Complete your profile 100 percent on these job sites and put keywords in your profile from the job descriptions of your interest. On naukri.com update your profile twice daily for better results. Free subscriptions to these sites are enough to get good jobs. No paid subscription is required.

Using Reference efficiently

A reference is an important tool that can help you in getting job interviews and many times getting jobs a little easily. A good employee if refers you to his/her organization, it eases your interview process many times and can give your career a boost that you did not expect. So never take references lightly.

Technical Questions

Every branch like IT, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Finance e.t.c has a set of questions that are being asked as per skills and experience. Start by appearing in interviews in the beginning and note down the questions being asked. Prepare answers to those questions on a notepad or notebook next time before appearing for the interview. You will see yourself overcoming hesitation or the problem of forgetting answers.

Clarity of Thought

The candidate shall be clear about what he is expecting before appearing for any job interviews. Like a candidate shall be clear on Job Location, Domain, Salary you expect, and Designation you want before appearing for job interviews and shall be discussed with HR if required. Once you proceed with the interview it’s advisable to not stop in between the interview and discussion process.

Get Up and Appearance

In any interview be well groomed and always prefer formal attire. This applies to both males and females. Refrain from personal habits like chewing anything or personal inclination towards any caste, religion, or political party in job interviews. It will negatively impact your candidature.

Commitment

Once you get selected and receive any job offer, you shall not go back from your words of joining the organization unless you have a far better opportunity in hand. Also, you shall inform the HR of the organization if you are rejecting the offer with a properly written mail and a clear reason. There are high chances of getting Cancel Hired (blocked) by the company you are rejecting the offer. Also, it might create a negative environment at job place for the person if he/she has referred you.
